Tooth Extractions Made Easy
Any tooth can be extracted for different reasons. Common reasons for tooth extraction consist of trauma or decay, crowded teeth, infection, compromised immune system, gum disease and problematic wisdom teeth. There are two different types of tooth extract that John B. Webster DDS performs known as a simple extraction and surgical extraction. We will perform a simple removal if the tooth is visible. In this case, we administer a local anesthetic, and then loosen and remove the tooth. The second type of extraction, surgical, John B. Webster DDS performs is for more complicated teeth such as a broken tooth or a tooth that is below the gum line. This type of extraction requires anesthesia as well and the dentist to make a small incision in your gum to reach the tooth in need of removal.
